TV Repairman

P595

Bagged myself some man points. Managed to fix the little 'ne's DVD player for the long drive tomorrow. IT skills appear to be transferable. Always good now....

End of the day?

Just Minnie, my beer and me. Must be time to finish up and get to bed.
It's not the weekend yet.

Lockdown

That's the house now in lockdown. All cupboards and drawers that
@babybunten can get in have now been child proofed. We'll see how long
it lasts and how smart a cookie she actually is.

Blog neglect

Realised I haven't posted in a while. Well since Friday and that
hasn't been like me. However I haven't really had a chance. Saturday
was just me and Rowan do not much time for much other than playing,
feeding, changing, playing. Then Sunday came and Rowan started to get
unwell. Monday was a day of cuddling on the couch and today was a day
for the doctor. Basically it's a virus and it'll take 5 to 7 days to
clear. Hopefully normal service will resume, shortly....

Ready for Santa

Well that's it. We're ready for Santa. The tree is up, it's decorated
and has it lights. Can't wait to see @babybunten's face in the
morning. It'll be her first proper Christmas, last year she was only 2
weeks old and sleep through most of it.'Tis the season to be jolly. It
is a wonderful life.

Stuck on you?

This little leaf was stuck to my driver's side window. It was with me
all the way from home to work so I thought at the very least it
deserved a photograph and to be shared.

Wonder if it will still be stuck there at home time?

As the leaves lie thick & no so even

It's that time of year again and the leaves are starting to lie thick
an uneven. It's my favourite time of the year. Just before it turns. I
love the colours and the crispness in the air.

The final leg.

Last leg of the work journey. Just a short bus ride to the office
barring traffic, road works and idiots :)

Time to study?

Don't ever remember having time to study in the mornings before school
but then I walked to school.

Here we go again...

The trek into work again but I'm changing it up today and getting the
train in to Glasgow. Two reasons, one I had to go to the bank and the
station is closer, two I can stand the buses wagon train route. The
buses are probably quicker.

Journey's end

Journey's end that's me at my desk. 90 minutes after I left the house.
A trip that normally takes less than 30 minutes. Ah well it's only for
a couple of days.

Worth waiting for?

My wife brought this home for me tonight. I'm a happy happy man. It's
the new Jack Reacher novel. I've read all 15 previous stories. Well
more like inhaled them ever since I discovered Killing Floor in one of
those hotel lending tables. You know the places I mean, the place
everyone dumps their used paperbacks instead of incurring the weight
on the way home from, Greece for me that time.

I think this one is going to be different. I'm almost scared to read
it. The last novel was a bit of a shock, Reacher is getting on, he's
old, mentally he's a fraction slower, physically he's not as strong.
He very nearly met his match and now seeing the title, 'Worth Dying
For'. Is this it? Is he at a cross roads? I haven't even read the
jacket and my mind is racing. What if this it? No more Reacher, it's
possible. Plus it's the first time Lee Child had release two novels in
the same year. That's big in itself. Something big and explosive is in
this book and only reading it will set it in motion! Oh I am scared,
maybe later. I've got the fear, I wish I was Reacher.....
